Morlands' FD30 Fire Doors have won the BWF Product Design in Wood Award 2017
| Following on from our very successful first showing at Sleep 2017 and our appearance in the TTJ there’s more good news to round off the year. Morland have won the very prestigious British Woodworking Federations Product Design in Wood Award 2017. | ||
| Awarded for excellence in technical innovation, application, and achievement in joinery product manufacture and design within the woodworking industry, we were up against some very tough competition from industry heavyweights such as Westbury windows and joinery, Promat, and Gowercroft joinery. It’s fair to say we’re extremely pleased to have received a unanimous judges decision to grant our Melamine faced, edge banded FD30 fire doors the award against such stiff competition. | ||

Our Commercial Director Andrew Warren attended the award ceremony at Drapers Hall in London on Friday 24/11/2017, which resulted in a fabulous photo of him looking incredibly surprised being shared across Twitter and Facebook. We're of course happy to be able to share this with you in case you haven’t seen it. We were awarded a rather lovely trophy which now takes pride of place in our Unit 10 door manufacturing facility. Produced by the BWF's Hannah Mansell this is a hand made combination of American Ash, Walnut and European Oak that will undoubtedly be displayed proudly for many years to come. |

Egger offers over 300 decors, so if a decor that you are considering isn't in the Morland Doors Range Guide but is in the Egger collection, then it may be possible to deliver that as a door solution. It will depend upon quantities and lead times.
